About me
I'm Oscar. I'm a full-stack developer and creative technologist with over 10 years of experience building things for the web.
My career spans a range of industries and project types. At Vindico, I worked as a full-stack developer on SWAAP 3.0, a stadium and venue management platform serving Principality Stadium and Welsh Rugby Union facilities. React Native mobile app, Node.js backend, real-time incident reporting, and QR-based contactless operations. I also built Intelligent Care, a Vue.js-based nursing home management platform with AI-powered documentation.
Before that, I spent years at Diva Agency building interactive HTML5 banner campaigns for AAA gaming publishers including Sony Interactive Entertainment, Activision, Square Enix, SEGA, and Devolver Digital. Campaigns for God of War, Spider-Man, Call of Duty, Guardians of the Galaxy, and more. I also built an internal design localisation tool that automated multi-language banner production using Adobe Photoshop scripting and Google Sheets integration.
On the conservation side, I created WildConnect -- a wildlife monitoring platform combining Next.js, Supabase, PostGIS, and machine learning models (BirdNET, MegaDetector) for automated species detection from camera traps and bioacoustic recordings. I also developed a custom TensorFlow noise filter to eliminate equipment false positives from BirdNET results.
My freelance client work includes Jude Law's production company, a Bristol creative magazine, a London interior design studio, and a national training organisation. I work with Astro, Next.js, Vue, React, and whatever fits the project best.
I also build creative web experiences using Three.js, WebGL, and GLSL shaders -- interactive 3D scenes, physics simulations, and shader experiments that push what browsers can do.
